FPCCI's first e. Welcome to the Commerce Policy

Engineer Darokhan Achakzai President FPCCI issued the first e-release issued by Prime Minister Pakistan. Welcoming the commerce policy, emphasizing the need and importance of this policy. He said that this policy would increase competitiveness and reduce costs for large companies, as well as small and medium enterprises.
He further said that the lack of awareness in Pakistan at present was due to weakening of the regulatory system, lack of facilities for payment of insurance obligations, absence of dispute resolution mechanism and so on. Commerce trade is not being used to the extent possible in Pakistan.

Referring to statistics. Global e-commerce sales reached US 2.9 trillion in 2018, with China having $ 600 billion and the US $ 461 billion, India said.

Commerce's trade has grown to $ 25 billion. He said that the State Bank of Pakistan's statistics should be highlighted that according to which mobile phone services in Pakistan covers 92% of the area, mobile phone users are 72% of the total population of Pakistan. While 30% are broadband subscribers and 28% are 3G / 4G subscribers but the use of this technology is very rare in mobile money, banking transactions, commerce, online shopping, utility transfers, education and health, funds transfer, communication connectivity etc. Reasons for its low use are lack of awareness and technical use skills.
He further said that the e-commerce policy framework has envisaged the establishment of a national e-council comprising the public and private sectors, and he also emphasized that the FP would be used to represent trade and industry and protect their business interests. Representatives of the PCCI should also be included in this council. The President of the FPCCI has also suggested to SBP that SBP should devise a mechanism for direct access to PayPal and other financial services that will enhance e-commerce trade and global e-commerce trade. I was able to help improve Pakistan's ranking.
Because Pakistan is currently at 120 position unlike other countries in the world, which is far behind China, India, Bangladesh and Nepal.
